Declaration Of Faith
1 Corinthians 1:10 "Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree, and there be no Divisions among you, but you be made complete in the same judgement."
We believe the sixty six books of the BIBLE are inspired of GOD in their original writings. To the best of our ability as the Spirit of God has given us understanding this declaration defines in broad terms that which we believe the BIBLE teaches concerning each of the doctrines included in this statement.
A. We believe that the BIBLE is divinely inspired completely trustworthy in its entirety, and that it is the only full, final, complete and infallible revelation of God from God to man. It is a complete rule of faith and conduct. Hence we recognize no other authority above the Bible 2 Timothy 3:16-17
B. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:16-17.
C. We believe in God the Father, Creator of the universe, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power, we rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayers, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. Genesis 1:1, 2 Timothy 1:9.
D. We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal and only-begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, sinless in His life, making atonement for the sins of the world by His death,by whom we are saved. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into Heaven, and His pre-millenial visible return to the world according to His promise. John 1:1-3, Matthew 1:20, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, Luke 24:39, Acts1:9-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:17.
E. We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from GOD to convince the world of sin, of righteousness, of judgement, and to regenerate, sanctify and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ. John 16:7-14, Romans 8:9, 8:14-16.
